Telemundo first aired the Mexican version in the US from October 25, 2006 until February 9, 2007, then announced that the unaired episodes will air in the future. Amor Mío is the first Televisa program ever aired on Telemundo. While Televisa has an exclusive deal with Univision until 2017, Telefe kept the distribution rights for the US and Puerto Rico, then sold the show to Telemundo. As with most of its other soap operas, Telemundo broadcast this program during its prime-time run with English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.
